First, I must apologize for being such a bummer this week. You've all been so nice and supportive and I really can't thank you enough.
I promise this will be my last Debbie Downer post for hopefully a long time! At my follow-up appointment yesterday I found out I have very mild or borderline pre-e. This is good news, because it's not severe, however I am on bed rest until my next appt Tues. My BP is getting higher every day, my hands, feet and face are swollen and tingly. I had a constant headache and am super, super itchy. On top of these annoying but manageable symptoms, I have been having a mini Crohn's flare since Wed which is causing me abdominal pain and nausea. When I told my MW this she took my concerns very seriously. She and I are on the same page that although I am not yet 40 weeks, my body is starting to give out, essentially. She said she hopes that I go into labor on my own this weekend, but if I don't, we're going to talk about an induction next week if things still look like they do now. It's just getting to the point where my health is in too much jeopardy.
I'm feeling such a mix of things. Guilty that we may have to end things before 40 weeks, relieved that I won't be stressed over my symptoms anymore, sad that things are deteriorating, happy that I'll be meeting Beep soon. I feel so very fortunate to have been pregnant for this long and I know how lucky I am. I wish I knew how this was going to play out...
ok that was LONG. Thank you for reading!

Re: The waiting game (long, sorry)
::hugs::
I really hope things get better! Its hard to not feel guilty for not being able to keep Beep in for 40 full weeks but look how far you have made it! You should be extremely proud of your self and your body!
Please keep us updated!
Aww, hang in there E. You have made it so far that even if you don't get to 40weeks there is no harm in that at all!! So many people go early...plus your health is very important right now, and I'm sure Beep wants to make sure her mama is ok!!!

No need to apologize for how you feel, hon. You've had a very rough road through this pregnancy (heck, and even before!). You are entitled to your feelings.
That being said...here's hoping for labor on your own this weekend!! I'm hoping my LO decides to come on her own sometime in the next week too, as I don't want an induction if I can avoid it either. At this point, though....even if you need to have an induction a few days earlier than 40 weeks - you are still term! Sometimes our bodies just won't do what they are supposed to on their own (as all us IF girls know!), and we need a little medical intervention. You have done a wonderful job handling all the curveballs this pregnancy has thrown you. If your doc feels little Beep needs to come a few days early, embrace it and get ready to hold your precious daughter in your arms instead of your belly!

I'm so sorry about the pre-e and Crohn's flare, sweetie!! I have to wonder with the Crohn's if your body is shifting in prep for Beep's grand entrance.... I hope it goes back to being quiet very soon!
I know you're sad to have her come before 40 weeks, but you've done SUCH a great job keeping her in for so long and I think you're at a great point in pregnancy to welcome her!!
Hang in there sweets!! Thinking of you!!
Don't apolgoize! I'm sorry your BP is getting higher and that you're feeling so lousy. I'm sure it's overwhelming for you physically and emotionally.
I'm sorry that things seem to be up in the air right now. Hoping that Beep remains healthy until whenever and however she makes her entrance into this world. You are doing all the right things. Don't beat yourself up! I am excited for you that you'll get to meet your baby girl soon! Hugs!
big ((hugs)), E! You have had many bumps in your pregnancy road and you should not feel guilty at allll. Beep is full term and maybe she just needs a little push!
On a side note, I saw this hand painted sign today in a baby boutique by my house, which read "Beep Beep." It was adorable and I thought about you immediately. I think maybe it is a sign
I'm so sorry you are feeling bad - please don't worry about complaining. It sounds really unpleasant. I totally think an induction is the right thing to do - it sounds like you body has had enough and you don't want things to get worse.
I had my youngest son at 38 weeks basically b/c my OB was at the hospital anyway and called and said come on over I'm going to break your water. That was all it took, labor started from that and I had no other interventions and had a nice easy natural delivery.
