Did you have staples or stitches? I was a week late and had a c-section on 8/7 and my staples are scheduled to be removed on monday. I'm just wondering for those who had staples how bad the removal actually was. It may not be a big deal but I've never had stitches removed before and the thought of staple removal is really freaking me out right now. It may just be that I'm exhausted and overwhelmed with a 6 day old and getting myself worked up for no reason.

i had staples that were removed 3 days later and it was nothing. two of them were put in a bit crooked so they were a little pinchy coming out but nothing cllose to the feeing of a back labor contraction!
They glued mine shut.
I think getting staples removed isn't a big deal though. My mom has had staples removed lots of times, and it wasn't bad.

I had staples and you can barely feel them being removed. It's nothing compared to everything else that goes along with the birthing process. You'll be ok!

I had staples with my first c/s (this one had dissolving stitches) and they removed them while I was in the hospital. It didn't hurt at all. In fact, these stitches have not dissolved all the way on the ends and they hurt because they get snagged all of the time. I wish I had staples this time too.
Edit: typo
3 more miscarriages and finally a correct diagnosis (septate uterus) and a corrective uterine surgery later, our second blessing is here!
