I remember I made the mistake of ordering yellow curry with chicken. It completely slipped my mind when I ordered and the baby paid me back big time that night.
Dairy. DS has a sensitivity that makes his stool green and mucousy, sometimes with blood mixed in.
You might want to try the broccoli/garlic again once your DD is 3 months old. She most likely doesn't have an allergy and babies get way better at handling their gas by then. No more late night grunt sessions!

Still in testing mode but it appears as though she has a hard time with fruit... blueberries, cherries... oh and pre-preg I had a serious milk intolerance, so I'm avoiding milk too.
I need someone to create a bland BFing menu for me. I am so crazy hungry and going to the store is usually out of the question.
I'm curious how everyone is figuring out what foods are disagreeing w/ LO. How long before the food you eat is turned into breast milk? I haven't been keeping track of anything, but now that DD is getting fussy more often, I wonder if she's struggling with what I'm eating.
I have noticed I can't eat broccoli or anything with the slightest touch of garlic in it. If I do-- she gets horrible gas and is really irritable.
What foods did you have to give up?
Nothing!! I've been eating just about everything I enjoy and DS seems to be fine. He poops/pees well, laughs a lot, & sleeps very well. After I just read all the foods other BF moms had to give up, I'm feeling totally blessed... cuz I eat lots lot of Japanese & Korean foods (*note: beans, pickles, garlic, onion, kimchi & other spicy stuff), stinky French cheese like Epoisses (DH is French..and we really love CHEESE!) and lots of other dairy foods..
Perhaps I should start watching what I eat from now on? I did notice though how smelly it was when DS pooped this morning... hmmm.. must've been the beans or cheese I had last night.. ;-)

With DD I was dairy/soy/nut/egg free for almost most of the year. I was also wheat free for a few months. This time around I was dairy/soy/nut free for two months and wheat/egg free for a month before we had to switch to Elecare. I'm still not sure what made him had funky diapers in the end. I'm still really sad about it. I also avoided all gassy stuff veggies/etc - did major research, because he was so sensitive.

I gave up caffeine for awhile, but noticed no difference.
One time I had a really spicy burrito and noticed blood in her stool (just a little) the next day, so I'm keeping spicy at a medium. No problems since.

Hot sauce. One day I ate something with REALLY hot sauce in it, and the next day DD screamed every time I tried to nurse her. Poor thing.... I didn't realize what was happening until quite late in the day. The hot sauce had made my milk taste bad
