Update-Todays Appointment

Well u/s and b/w went ok. The Dr. said the follies are growing but still small...Grrr....I have to be on meds today and tomorrow and then another u/s and b/w Sunday morning. There going to call me tonight with my new dosage, so I'm assumming its increasing! He said on the right side I had a Follie that was 8.5 and on the left one that was 10. I'm assuming those were the largest ones. For you ladies that have had this before what size do they need to be for them to have me trigger? I'm really hoping to trigger Sunday and have the retrieval Tuesday morning!

My RE wants the leading follies to be 18-20mm at the time of trigger, so don't count on it happening on Sunday. Keep injecting!

Well, my leads were in the low 20's, both times when I triggered. I would not expect it to happen on Sunday. I would expect a couple more appt's at least, every other day. I would suspect you might trigger next Thursday or later, but that's just my guess. Good luck hun. I know how hard it is to be patient, I am not real good at that myself.

Crap I dont know if I'll have enough Menopur to last me to Thursday. I'm doing 2 Menopurs and 225 Follistim Daily. As of today the Dr. had me star taking my Cetrotide Daily as well. I'll ask them about it on Sunday when I go for my next rounf of b/w and u/s! Thanks Hun!

Mine were at 18 on the last u/s and then I triggered 2 days later. On average the follies grow 1-2 mm per day. I hope things keep growing! Good luck.

I agree with the other girls, you're definitely not triggering Sunday with your biggest follie at a 10. How many days have you been stimming? This was your first ultrasound, right?

Good luck with the next few days of stims. Hope those follies start getting nice and big!

Thanks for the offer hun. Luckily my insurance covers the meds and I only have to pay the co-pay. I have enough for tomorrow and Monday. I called my Dr. and she said we'll figure out if I need more meds after tomorrows u/s. I just worry that if I cant call the pharmacy until Monday morning I may not have them in time for Tuesday evening. I wish I could just drive to CVS or Rite Aid and pick it up rather then it being shipped!

This. I hope that you get a good amount of follies but don't get OHSS. That was no fun!

I was able to get my meds overnighted from Freedom Pharmacy in MA. Also, to prevent OHSS my dr, made me trigger with Lupron...
