It's a girl!

I felt bad for the lady doing it-- she asked us what we were hoping for & we all said 'boy.' It was me, MH, and my parents, and none of us are big "yippee" jump-for-joy type of people. A smile is our version of excitement. So finally the u/s tech said "well, I can't find a penis." I think she thought we were upset because we didn't jump around screaming & she kept apologizing for not finding a penis... and I'm pretty sure she said 'penis' upwards of 20 times & it got us a bit tickled!

Unfortunately, we have NO idea what to name a girl, and were just kind of hoping it was a boy! But we're excited!

I hope I don't look disappointed at our gender reveal party in a week if we find out it's a boy. We'll be thrilled, but we're REALLY wanting a girl...and everyone knows it. I know I would get used to the idea of another boy, but when I imagine my family, I always see a boy and a girl. We'll see!

awww!!! Not that you wouldn't be a good mom to a boy, but for some reason I've felt like you're going to have a girl all along! (Must be my psychic powers.. lol)

I think you will be such a great Mom to a girl! Think of all the cute stuff you can do with a girl (not that you can't with a boy). But I'm kinda partial to girls just b/c I'm parenting one myself! Lol.

I mean there's always a chance that the tech could be wrong and your A/S tech might find that penis, but still. It sounds like it was a good experience and especially since your parents got to see it from OOT that makes it even more exciting! Yay for your addition to Team Pink!!! Congrats!!

Yes, we'll table the little boy name for now. We seriously have NO idea what to name this little one! I'm such a planner, it's driving me nuts! My brother said he had the same problem-- and his twin girls were born 3 months early! They were in the hospital with "Baby girl A"
