I just made this list yesterday:
Hang 2 more decorative pieces in the nursery
Install car seat and get inspected
Pack hospital bag/baby bag
TY Notes from shower
Finish the last little bit of laundry
Get rest of registry items that we would like (NBD if not done before baby gets here)
Find a place in my kitchen for bottles
So really only 2 things that HAVE to be done before baby comes, or ideally should be.
My shower is on Sunday, so I will have a lot of sorting/washing/organizing/assembling/returning/shopping to do after that, I'm sure.

wait for friend to build my changing table/storage unit, and then set that up (this is a point of contention for me this week - I really, really wanted it before my shower and I've been waiting for it since May, but our friend hasn't even bought the wood and is still over-analyzing the hell out of the design)

Install car seat we will probably be using one of our parents cars because we still haven't found a SUV and my car is a small 2 door. So I need to figure out which car and make sure a base for the carrier is installed.
Trade in 2 door vehicle for larger car.
Order second car seat for MIL and a second base for carrier.
Finish packing hospital bag & small bag with DH
Finish nursery. Still waiting on dresser and changing table.
Order the GB packers onsies that DH picked out.
Figure out which of our insurances is covering DD and what we need to do.
Wash baby blankets and towels.
Buy diapers and formula we have none
Wow looking at this list I feel like a total slacker!
- Finish packing hospital bag (DH promises to put his clothes in this weekend, otherwise I'm ready)
- Pick C-Section date (will do on Tues)
- Have carseat installation checked by professional (will do on Sat)
- Get a mani/pedi and maybe a massage
- Tidy up our house (mainly the living room/dining room)
-Charge camera batteries

-Make some extra TY notes (for nurses @ hosp)
-Finish online birthing classes (7 parts down, 2 parts to go)

Wash the BumGenius Elementals 3 more times so they're ready to be worn by LO
Go into labor!
My shower is next weekend so I am sure I will get a few of the things I need listed below.
- get bottles and nipples
- get carseat
- install carseat and have checked by fire dept.
- get mattress for the crib (mom is buying it for us next weekend while she's here)
- get bedding for the crib (we have no sheets for it yet)
- wash clothes and bedding
- pack bag for hospital
- pick out a coming home outfit for LO
- put PnP together
- fill out FMLA paperwork
- setup STD claim
There are several more things I want to get done but this is the bare minimum in order to be ready to bring LO home.
1. Buy: nursing tanks/bras, lanolin, SUPER sized pads, tylenol
2. Purchase remainder items off registry: mattress, scratch mittens, swaddles, sheets, etc.
3. Put together crib when it arrives next week
4. Install car seat base and put together stroler
5. Stock up on extra diapers and wipes
7. Pack hospital bag
6. Wait for baby to arrive
I am *hoping* to get a majority of my list done this weekend... except for baby arriving, I still need a few more weeks!
relax - read some books - be lazy - sleep in and take naps - go to the Gym & continue to walk the dogs - spend quality time with family/friends and my hubby - eat some great food - watch a few movies - go take a walk down by the beach+boardwalk - ...
...Enjoy the moment and let it soak all in that in a few days-weeks, my life will be forever changed.
Prep CD's
Make a meal to take to the birth center (bought the ingredients, just have to make & freeze)
Have last baby shower tomorrow
Finish a LOT of stuff at work
Finish buying stuff off registry
Finish packing birth center bag

Wash the PNP and set it up.
Pick up some newborn diapers, pads, and breast pads.
(And honestly, DH could handle these while I'm in the hospital, if needed!)
Anything else is just extra!
Finish moving some more stuff out of the nursery (boxed stuff we were storing in there)... Do a nice overall cleaning in the nursery and the apartment

Get all nice and caught up at work as much as possible... (I'm the only one in charge of my stuff here with no backup...so want to get everything as organized as possible so it's not too backed up...)
I THINK that's pretty much it.....Oh, besides actually giving birth..

Purchase all left-over items from registry, including PNP, which we'll need to set up
Finish organizing and decorating baby's room
Wash clothes, blankets, bottles, sheets, etc.
Finish packing hospital bag
Finish and mail last of the thank you cards from shower
Take breastfeeding class (and infant CPR if we can squeeze it in)
Pick a pediatrician
Create call tree for day I go into labor
Wrap up work-related projects
Have some fun with DH before baby arrives!
-transport clean clothes, bedding, and bassinet from parents house to our apt (happening sunday)
-organize all of LOs stuff and figure out where things are going
-get: nursing tanks (maybe after he is born?), bookcase

I'm in the process of sorting all of DD#1's baby clothes so I can assess what we still need to buy.
DH needs to fix/install the car seat. (Ours was recalled but the company supplied a replacement part)

Set up either the crib or the PNP.
Make sure the breastpump is working.

Its cute how similar ev eryone's lists is so far. Mine is not that different:

-buy hostess gift for shower
Umm ok...I now realize that I am the only one so far who has yet to do several crucial things that need to be done. CRAP!!!
