Vent: Dry cleaners lost my favorite dress :(

My wonderful DH went to pick up my dry cleaning this morning and I get a call that goes something like this:

DH:  Honey, am I supposed to be picking up a red sweater with turtles all over the front?

Me: WHAT??  No it's a black maxi dress.

So yeah, the dry cleaner is going to "look for it."  Ugghh I really hope they find it.  And the kicker??  They tried to make DH pay for the cleaning even though they lost the dress. 


Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    Yes!  That's the dress they lost.  I'm so mad!!

    I know!  He was hot about it and it's a good thing I wasn't there or they would have seen full-on pregnancy rage.

    UGH i am so sorry! You looked beautiful in that dress! And prob comfy too! So if it doesnt surface you demand them to reimburse you for it. The dry cleaner "lost" my dad's pants, i think they gave them to someone else or saw how nice they were and he kept them or something weird like that. But my Dad has expensive pants ($300 a pair) and my mom fought and fought and finally got them to reimburse her because those are his work pants and its their fault totally. I really hope he fixes the mix up and you get your dress back!
