Twin Post Explosion!

Is it just me, or have there been like, an unusual number of twin posts lately? I feel like every day there's a new one.

I know what's going on here.... Zip it! (for at least one or two of them, right?)

of course if I'm wrong.... Hi MoM's! Hope you'll stick around! Naming two kids must be tough!

Let me in on the secret- what IS going on?

I feel like I know many more twins and moms of twins IRL now than I did growing up, so the increase in posts hasn't struck me as all that odd.

There's one troll in particular that loves to "have twins" She frequents the MoMs board, this one, and sometimes even the Pregnant After a Loss board. She's a real nasty one and I assume she's still floating around here somewhere.

I don't mean to accuse any of the new folks of being a troll... No worries Anyone-Who-Is-Actually-Pregnant-With-Twins.

I also don't mean to stir up any bad feeling for anyone. Just making observations and curious as to whether anyone else had noticed an unusual number of twin posts.

Gotcha. I have to admit that as much thought as I have given to names, a very, very small part of me wants to have twins one day just to use all the great names I have stored up. It seems like a shame to stop having children when I easily have at least 3 more names that I absolutely adore.

I think I'd have to set the world record for most offspring in order to use all of my favourite names.

FWIW.. I know there are probably a dozen mom's due with Twins on the January board.

I haven't noticed an explosion in posts but I have noticed a large increase in people having twins and those that I know having twins have all had fertility assistance in some fashion. Now, I'm not saying that everyone who has twins has gone through treatments or that all twins are the product of treatment but it has been written that certain treatments increase the chances of having twins.
