So here are some reviews on products that I hope might be helpful for some other FTMs...
Boppy- I really use this a lot for breastfeeding. I used the Breast friend in the NICU but I do prefer my Boppy because it feels softer and I think it puts him in a better position to breastfeed. I also suggest a water proof cover for it, milk just goes everywhere!
RNP- another thing I love. He sleeps at night and naps in his. Because it is inclined if he spits up I dont feel like he will choke on it. He also loves being rocked, if he is waking up a little bit it is so easy to rock him back to sleep.
PNP- mostly I just use this to change him down stairs. I have the Morgan and I will say the changer does slant a lot to the right because there is no support to hold it up on the right side. So I used a receiving blanket to prop up the right side, which works.
Diaper Genie- he poops are sometimes stinky but this does keep the smell in so far. I think I have emptied it 3 times in about 10 days.
Burp cloths- I have some that are terry cloth and do not absorb very well. The ones I like are the flannel ones that are cloth diaper like.
Diapers- I wouldnt stock up too much on newborn diapers. After 4 days in the NICU (and almost 9 lbs at birth) he was wearing size 1 when he came home. I had only opened 1 package so I returned the other packages to get size 1. Of course if your baby is smaller then you could use them but I didnt at all.
Wipes- I really like the Sensitive Thick care wipes from Pampers. They just feel so nice!
Clothes- He is either in a onsie or a sleeper at night. I have a lot of really cute outfits that he has yet to wear because we are at home at all day and I think he would be more comfortable in a onsie.
Bibs- Get the kind that are waterproof. They make a little more noise but the milk wont get on your baby's clothes. At 2am the last thing you want to do is have to change your sleeping baby's clothes because they are wet.
Another thing I didn't think of is if you have a 2 story house, you will mostl likely not want to go up the stairs. My doctor told me not to go up them more than once a day. So we had to bring everything down stairs. Which was a pain for my DH, so knowing this next time I would bring everything down before having the baby. I can now go up the stairs no problem (after 2 weeks out from a vag delivery), but I love being so close to the kitchen I dont think I want to move things upstairs!

I don't believe that God ever tells us "no". he has three options. Yes, not right now, or I have something better in mind. We just have to wait & see.
I second the RNP being awesome! Our LO doesn't sleep in his at night, but he naps in it sometimes and last weekend we took him to Tahoe and just folded it up and put it in the trunk so he could sleep in that. So much easier than lugging a pack n play around with us.
