Got the side eye at the grocery store

I went to the store today just to pick up a few things and bought a six pack of non- alcoholic beer.  We're having some friends over tonight to have pizza and I thought it would be a nice treat.  I don't love it but an occasional one does give you that beer flavor.

 Anyway the cashier was really odd and then finally said "that beer is not for you, right?" and instead of killing her with the daggers shooting out of my eyes I laughed and said its non-alcoholic and she had the nerve to say "there's a little alcohol in it"

Seriously????? I'm officially hiding in the house from now on. Ugggg

    Kick her in the shins!!!  Uhm just because you're pregnant and buying beer (alcoholic or not) doesn't mean you are the one drinking it.  Awesome pregnant wives pick up beer for their husbands all the time...does she live in the stone age?

    I'll never understand why cashiers feel it's any of their business to comment on what you're buying... just ring me up and make small talk about the weather, not my purchases!  I bought DH a 12-pk of Coronas the other week... wonder what they thought about me?!  lol

    I know...its funny how people feel its ok to make comments to a pregnant woman.  I bought a bottle of wine to take to a party and got a ton of dirty looks....

    SIL and I were both exteremly pg and went to the liquor store to buy beer for our DH's.  They didn't seem to care at all that we were pg- but funny thing is they did card us- when I was 30 and she was 36....
