upper abdomen pain

On Wed it felt like a stabbing pain in my upper abdomen and I just thought LO was kicking weird but it has been sore every since. It feels like a constant ache or pulled muscle or almost feels as if he is kicking a nerve or has bruised a muscle. I've tried to look this up but can't find anything on google.

Anyone else had anything like this? I hate feeling so nervous about every little thing.

i have that sometimes too. i think it's b/c there is a baby's head in there bumping around my ribs, or maybe kicking my ribs, and that is what is causing the pain/residual ache.

it might also just be a whole lot of stretching going on and your muscles/ligaments adjusting.

Does it feel kind of burny or tingly? I have this and there's a name for it- but I can't remember it. My doc said it's totally normal and is from the pulling of your abdomen muscles. Try not to message it but instead lift up on the bottom of your belly to release some of the pulling or try putting some ice on it.

Of course talk to your doc in case what you're having isn't what I have...

Apparently it's Diastasis os the rectus ab muscles-basically seperation of the ab muscles. The name makes it hurt worse!
