What is normal beta level?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new the message boards and am going through my first IVF cycle.  I have my beta test this Wednesday and am wondering what a normal or healthy number would be? I had a 5dt on 11/2 so I'll be 10dpt this Wednesday. Anyone else testing this week?

Re: What is normal beta level?

  • My first beta with IVF #1 was at 12dpo (8dp5dt) and my RE told me we were looking for a beta of 20 or higher. I am assuming anything positive in your case would be great.

    Good luck!

  • I've got my beta this week too - on Friday.  It can't get here fast enough!  Good luck to you on Wed.  Let us know how it goes.
  • Anything above 5 indicates pregnancy. The baseline # can be anywhere from 5 to 5000 or above for a healthy pregnancy--if you google beta #s you'll see the wide range.

The bigger indicator is that the # doubles every 2-3 days.
