How is this for greedy!?

My cousin and his gf are pg.  They are both very immature. He is mad because he has not gotten his way the entire pg and she is having a girl and not a boy.  She acts like she is 16 and parties every weekend. (It would not surprise me if she is drinking while pg)

Well, they registered this weekend at BRU.  6 car seats, 4 pack-n-plays, 4 bath tubs, and over 600 items.  They are going to Target and Wal-Mart to register this weekend.  I thought something was wrong with the registery.  I called him to ask and it is right.  They want 1 car seat for each of them, 1 car seat for each of the granmothers, 1 for her dad, and 1 for her sister.  1 pnp and bath tub for them, 1 of each for each granparents home, and 1of each for her sister. They registered for each outfit in all sizes.  It was rediculous.

    I should add they live with my aunt.  He works 2 nights at Outback and she doesn't work.  She is on the state's insurance and is on WIC.

    sorry you have to deal with such stupidity.  i guess since she doesn't have it all together in the head she will be shocked and let down when she doesn't get all that crap??  wow, and you are probably invited to the baby shower??  that stinks.

    And I would sooooo be buying something NOT on the registery. (Bc I am a biotch like that though...muhahahahaha)

    Married- These are the ones that are using Allie for the NN and want me to call my Allie- Brooke.  My Allie is Allie it is not short for anything.  They can use a million other names since they are naming her Alexandra Katherine.

    I am not giving her info out on the internet. It is not worth them getting their info compromised for a good laugh.  I promise it is horrible.

    They are using Ally.  His mom and sister told them they could not do that.  They(mom and sister) are planning on calling the new baby Alex.  E and S unwillingly changed the spelling.

    Dang it!!  I KNEW I missed a golden opportunity in my registry but only registering for our necessities.  Maybe I can fix it with this next one.

    And mental note to require a relative to rename his/her child as well...

    Apparently they think everyone is coming to the baby shower with a $200 item... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah right. 

    What ever happened to the grandparents being so excited that they shop for the stuff they will use at their home?

    Holy crap!!  That's totally insane!

     Are they planning on buying anything themselves?  Are the grandparents expecting to buy anything? 

    I KNEW I should have registered for more!!  And to think, I felt greedy b/c I registered for an infant carseat as well as 2 convertible carseats!!!

    I guess they are not expecting to have the kid much. Since they pretty much registered for everything a babysitter would need x3!

    it's a bit silly yes- but greedy?  Only if they truly expect people to buy EVERYTHING for them... otherwise I'm a fan of registering for anything you might need in the first year or so - it gives people more choices on what to get you- and you'll have stuff you need for months after just the first few.

    i hope he gets 6 carseats and nothing else. when you register for useless things or greedy things, you just get less of what you actually need. I figure that the value of your gifts is going to be about the same regardless of what you register for, so they're basically screwing themselves into having virtually nothing.
