NT Scan

Hi Ladies!

I had my NT Scan with the MFM this week.  They drew blood and did an internal and external u/s.  The NT measurement showed 1.16 (they said anything under 3 was good).  I go back in 4 weeks for a repeat of everything and I guess they will look at all the results combined to assess the baby's development.  We are very pleased and thankful with the results so far.  :D

This was our 4th u/s but the 1st one where our LO looked like an actual baby which was just amazing. 

Our LO was squirmy all around which was so cute to see.  My Husband said to me - "And you can't feel any of that?!??".  No DH.  LOL  

On another note, I think this u/s really went a long way to help me embrace this pregnancy.  Not for any reason really, but I have been afraid that at some point the rug would be pulled out from underneath me.

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
    *Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

    Congrats on a great scan! I know what you mean, it was only at 16 weeks that I felt like it was real, and that I felt comfortable to tell people.
