So sweet had to share!

I'm at work in my office off of a common room in our church. There are these two sweet old men that always come in to volunteer with various things on Fridays and I can always hear their conversations-both are hard of hearing- outside of my office, even with my door closed. Today they were talking about on of their brothers who is 85 and is getting married to a woman who recently lost her husband. He also had recently lost his wife.

Well, these adorable men were saying that since their wives have passed, they just barely survived, they didn't live anymore..and that no other woman would ever be able to compare to their wife. One of them said "after so many years with Dottie, I just don't know how another woman would fit into my life! She's the only one I could ever love." I love how older men can be so honest and open about the loves of their lives.

Needless to say, I'm crying and want to call DH and tell him how much I love him!

OH my gosh, that IS so sweet!!!! I would have cried too. I have this thing about old people, LOL I just think they are sooo cute!!! And the name "Dottie"...awww!!! I love it, thanks for sharing!! I'm going to tell DH how much I love him too!
