chances of conceiving right after a miscarriage?

on july 11 i was about 8 weeks pregnant and i started bleeding, so i went to the dr, and they told me i was having a misscarriage, but they told me i can start trying again as soon as i was done bleeding, because your really fertile and ovulate after just like a period,i have a 28 day cycle
so me and my husband bd, &on cycle days 12,13,14, and 15, on the 18 day of my cycle i had a little spot of pink blood when i wiped but thats it and i was supposed to get my period about 5 days ago,..
ive been kinda constipated, my boobs are really sore, lol and ive had some thickerr discharge, my gums were bleeding a lil today? so do you guys think its possible?
and should i get a test??

Just take a test. If you have anymore pregnancy related questions they would be better received on PgAL. I agree with PP, you are going to get a lot of heat from this post. Good luck, I hope you are PG and don't have to come back to this board. I mean that in a nice way Smile

1.I highly doubt a doctor told you those things, if they did then you need a new doctor. 2. Just because you have a 28 day cycle does not mean you ovulate on day 14, I suggest reading TCOYF or at least looking at the fertility friend website. 3. Those are all AF symptoms as well. 4. It's rude to ask a group of strangers if you're pregnant. Read ttcalblog.blogspot.com5. Take an HPT. If positive move to PGAL, do not announce here. Get your doctor to check betas since unless they followed you to 0 you have no way to know it's a new pregnancy without them.

congratulations! You have your first MIND FETUS! GTFO! oh and BTW..... I DOUBT any doc in his/her right mind would tell someone to BD RIGHT after a miscarriage because "that's when you're most fertile". If you're really did say that, I would find a new doc!

No doc would tell you that. I went against my doctor's orders and guess what? I did get KTFU and then miscarried AGAIN! Hope you don't meet the same fate. Also, please don't phish, no one knows what's going on in your ute. Think before you post! This is going to upset a lot of women on here.
