So there's a ghost in my house ( long but interesting)

Maybe it sounds crazy but I think my boyfriends father (who passed away in 1993) is here looking over our baby girl. This all started in Feb a few days before her birth. I was setting up her bassinet. I was in the dining room with it when i suddenly hear a noise and see something fly across the room. I go over and look, the cabinet at the far end of the kitchen is wide open and two very light container lids had flew across the room (if the lids had caused the cabinet to open they would have just fell right on the counter not across the room)

A few weeks ago as i was looking for something in the basment, I was on one side of the basement by myself and there were boxes on the opposite side of the room, I didnt hear any noises but when I turned around one of the boxes was right behind my feet like someone had put it there.

I was going up the stairs and when i got to the door, before I even put my hand on the knob, the door opened.This happened twice

I was laying down last week and I could feel someone standing over me.

We were sitting on the couch one night last week and out of the corner of my eye I saw a man in a white t-shirt come on the from the deck and go over near the stove. So I asked my boyfriend and he said his father passed away right there on the deck and always wore white t-shirts. Later that evening when I was home alone with the baby, I exited the room and when I came back a dining room chair had been moved out onto the deck into the same spot where his father passed.

And finally I awoke this morning and asked my boyfriend had he used the sink in the bathroom, because the water was on and the sink had overflowed onto the floor. He said he hadnt used the sink. I'm not sure whether I'm scared or not LOL. Im a little freaked out but not really terrified.

Something similar happened to my sister. We think it was our Grandma. Her lamps would turn on and off by themselves and shake. Her closet door would shut just as she was walking into the room, and she found things of hers misplaced in the house. She politely asked her to leave. She said one night when she was laying in bed she spoke out loud and said she loved her and missed her but she was creeping her out a bit. Maybe try that? Say that you appreciate he watching over the baby, but it's kind of strange and makes you a little uncomfortable? Good luck. It's probably out of love.

How interesting! My best friend committed suicide 10 days after Silvie was born, after having visited us the day before and held Silvie for the first and last time. I had several dreams about/with her in the first few months that actually helped me deal with her death. I haven't "heard" from her since. Two nights ago I had another dream with her in it and ever since, Silvie's room has been significantly colder than the rest of the house. Like 4+ degrees. Usually its exactly the same temperature if not warmer than the rest of the house, and then yesterday it just switched. We haven't changed anything either. I kind of feel like maybe Maddie is in there watching over Silvie. She slept wonderfully last night so maybe she's helping me get some sleep!? Haha.

Crazy! I totally believe in ghosts. My college boyfriend died in a car accident and I saw him the week after, standing over my bed, smiling the biggest smile. It really put me at peace.

I wonder if your FIL is hanging around for a reason... I'd try to figure out why he was there, maybe he needs your help. LOL...or maybe I've watched too many shows about helping ghosts cross over.

I dont know if I believe in ghosts the thought scares me but two things happened that are kind of creepy:

1) when dh sister passed from sids, their older brother was taking a nap, when he woke up a family friend went in his room while the paramedics were working on his sister and his brother said Jenna is gone, she said goodbye and that she had to go. No one had told him what was going on!!

2) When my grandpa died my dad saw a pole in his shop start swinging back and forth and felt a cold air. No windows or air conditioner was on. He found out the next day his dad had passed and thinks it was him saying goodbye.

I dont know if they are true but every time I turn on the stained glass lamp my grandpa made I like to think he is there visiting and watching over Tyler.
