Our 1 year 'anniversary' of trying for #2 is coming up and I'm sick to my stomach just thinking about it

9/11 ovarian drilling to remove cysts + 5mg Femara = BFN
10/11 5 mg Femara again = BFP, ectopic pregnancy at 5w4d
11/11 diagnosed with breast cancer
12/11 bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction

TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
DS was a wedding night special. It took 4 years and 1 month of actively trying to get pregnant with DD after DS.
We have never done anything in particular to stop from conceiving after DS was born except for about 3 months of condoms. We have been actively trying for #3 since Christmas. After another miscarriage, I said "screw this" and finally went to see the RE. Because my kids are very high maintenance and because trying to get pregnant is so emotionally exhausting, we waited until DD was a little more than two before going after the next. But at this point, my biological clock is ticking. I don't have another 9 years of fertility--such as it is--left.
TTC since 6/02 (age 22) K/U instantly despite no AF for 5 months--preemie baby boy 1/03
M/C 11/04 - M/C 05 - M/C 06 - BFP 2/08--fullterm baby girl 10/08 - M/C 4/11 - went to RE at age 31
DX: crappy quality & infrequent ovulation, mild MFI
Stimmed cycle #1 C/P 7/11 - Stimmed cycle #2 C/P 8/11 - Stimmed cycle #4 C/P 10/11

Always thought I'd be a "mom of many"--now just hoping to be a "mom of one or two more!"

footnote: we wanted to start 3 years ago but my husband had a huge surgery (colon removed) and we had to wait a year to let the nasty-ass anti-tumor meds leave his system. it's been a long time of waiting, waiting, w-a-i-t-i-n-g....
this xmas we are going to take down the crib, get rid of the baby clothes, and move on. that will be 2.5 years of active trying. whatever happens after that is a-ok with us. worse case scenario -- we buy a new crib.
DD was born in 1/2010. We have never tried to prevent it since then. But we have been seriously trying to have another since last September. So, almost one year for us. Sad.
June 2010-April 2012: Lots of trying, chlomid, gonal-f, with triggers, without, IUI's and tons of BFNs
May2012: Letrozole + IUI = BFP!!!! Due 2/10/13
