Ready to potty train

I'm so ready for Claire to be ready to potty train.  Diaper changes have become a nightmare.  It's fine to change her diaper when she first wakes up and right before bed but any time between that she struggles, cries and throws a fit (the back arched, body twisted kind).  It's horrible.  I give her things to distract her, etc. but nothing seems to work.  I've tried changing her standing up but it's hard with the snaps on cloth diapers. 

She does like to sit on the potty and has peed on it twice but I still feel she's too young to potty train.  She's still doesn't use that many words (that's a whole other concern I have) so she doesn't say anything to indicate she may have to use the potty.  So other than enjoying sitting on the potty and struggling with diapers I'm not sure she's ready yet. 

Can someone send her the memo that she either needs to cooperate with diaper changes or get ready to potty train?  Thanks :)

    I so remember those days with Scott.  The only thing that worked (although briefly) was letting him choose where he was going to get changed.  He could find the spot.  But even that only worked for a few weeks.  Sometimes I felt like I was wrestling a greased pig!

    Oh how I remember those days with Keira. It was a nightmare. It lasted MONTHS. We had to hold her down every change--minus first thing in the morning and diapering before bed. I used to joke that I felt like Steve Irwin wrestling a croc. haha I know it is no comfort and I have no solution for you unfortunately. I tried EVERYTHING. She just hated it and up until about 3 months before we PT she was like that. Hang in there! One thing that sometimes helped was me asking her a bunch of questions and singing a favorite song.
