Starting kindergarten

Just got back from meeting Carter's kindergarten teacher.  I walked him around the school, showed him where things were, and explained that there would be a bazillion people there to help him next week.  He help my hand the entire time and I knew it was overwhelming for him b/c he was super clingy. 

It was such a good visit, but I swear it took everything I had not to burst into tears!  I'm not even emotional like that either.  So bittersweet.  I didn't think I'd cry, but now that the day is approaching, I think I'm going to be a basketcase.

    Aw, all of the FB posts about the little ones starting school is making me emotional!  I'm sure Carter is going to do great... good luck to both of you!

    Seriously, can't believe y'alls babies are going to kindergarten!  Man, the last 5 years FLEW by.  I agree w/ the pp- this has really made me emotional this year for some reason.

    Carter is going to rock it...and you ARE going to cry.  But once the first day is under your belt, all will be fine :)  I promise!!  We two weeks behind us now and it's like a new routine!
