How often do you guys get your levels checked? Also, I'm trying to google them but what are good levels in the 1st Tri? Mine went up a number since May so I doubt that's good!
I'm hypothyroid (have been for several years) so I get mine checked every 4 weeks. My endo likes to keep my levels between 1 & 2, regardless of what Tri I'm in. Thankfully, I've only needed my dosage changed twice.

Good question! I'm hypothyroid too. It was 4.4 I think before I started synthroid, 1.6 last check. I haven't gotten it checked since I got pregnant. Will the OB check these or do I need to see an endo??
My endocrinologist likes to keep mine around or below 1. She wanted to see me every 5 weeks, but last time I saw her she said in 3rd tri she only wanted to see me every 7 weeks or so b/c at that point the baby has a functioning thyroid but obviously my levels still need to be controlled.

I get hyperthyroid when pregnant and my T3 and T4 are way off. My OB checked mine at my first appt which was 12 weeks (I had seen my RE prior to that) and sent me to an Endo who checked mine every month after that for a couple of months then when my TSH was normal again she said just to come back at 6 weeks post partum. Be careful when looking at normal thyroid ranges b/c their is a separate range for pregnancy and each trimester. First trimester TSH should fall between .20 and 4.70

I've had mine checked twice already and they are still trying to bring my levels down. IMy TSH was at 13 after being pregnant for a couple of weeks...they have had to adjust my synthroid twice so far.
Ok, good to know. My RE gave me a blood test but normally my family doctor monitors that. My level is 2.65 and I'm nervous it's going to keep rising. What are side effects for high TSH levels during PG? Oh yes, another thing to worry about
I have mine checked every 4 weeks as well, and the med dosage has increased with each lab draw.

This exactly. I'm only at 6 weeks and I already had to increase my dosage.

My OB was willing to moniter it but since I already had been seeing an endo, she just let the endo take care of it. The OB does periodically ask about my synthyroid dosage, though.

Mine is 2.65 (well it was a week ago Tuesday) it went up from 1.05 since May. Should I call my Dr. and see if I should get my dosage upped? I've been reading about hypothryoid and m/c. I don't need anything else to worry about Nor do any of you.
