1- We met in 5th grade and have been BFF's ever since. She is so opposite of me we work out perfectly!

2- I will pick Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Sweet but so nosey it gets me into trouble!

3- Dry erase markers....no idea why?

4- Dh and I drive around the neighborhood on our golfcart and talk to all the neighbors....it's kind of funny!

5- Pick of me and DH our first Halloween together!

I think it is slow too and very little replys.

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? We could stop communicating for a full year and then it feels like we just saw each other the day before.

2- What cartoon character descibes you and why?I would have to think that.

3-Name an odd smell you like? My husband scent from sleeping or getting heated, not stinky sweat.

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? Breakfast in bed and full breakfast menu with fresh squeezed orange juice.

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? The calendar where I marked how far along I would be each week. I still can't believe it.

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? Well she's my sister, but other than that she is a great listener and can literally talk me off the ledge. She is just wonderful.

2- What cartoon character descibes you and why? i'm drawing a blank.

3-Name an odd smell you like? I love the smell of freshly tarred (spelling) driveways in the summer.

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? Right now, go to the pool in our complex.

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? The picture of my puppy tacked to my cube wall.

It is slow. I think a lot of our more frequent posters have graduated in the past couple of weeks. 1. She's my best friend because she's loyal, trustworthy, kind and because we've been through a lot together. 2. That's a good question! In HS a friend used to call me Tigger because I was full of bouncy energy. I think DH (and of course the ravages of time) have slowed my down since then! 3. I like the way Home Depot and Lowes smell. 4. Lately all my days are the same but maybe going out to brunch? That's a weekend thing for me. 5. DH sitting with me (cheesy, sorry).

Seriously... I have had a lot of down time during incubations at work and keep checking all the boards... they're all slow! Blah, makes my day so much longer! Thanks for the poll!

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? We've been best friends since the first day of first grade... so coming up on 23 years! She is someone I can always tell something to and know that I'll get a thoughtful and honest response. I know I can count on her to be there for me if I need her, and we can spend hours catching up on each other's lives. Living 700+ miles away from her these past 5 years has SUCKED, but we're still best friends!

2- What cartoon character describes you and why? Garfield... I love naps, lasagna, and sarcasm... and I hate spiders!

3-Name an odd smell you like? when I was little I liked the smell of gas and would always ask to ride with my dad to the gas station when he went to fill up the car. lol

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? laundry

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? a family portrait that my boss's daughter (5y/o) drew of her family... she made one for each of us since none of us have kids to draw pictures for us to hang up.

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? Honestly, kinda lame but DH is my BFF.. haha we went to highschool together and just have been through so much, I definetly married my best friend

2- What cartoon character descibes you and why? I kind of like to think Winnie the Pooh -- pretty easy going, loving, mischievious -- optomist

3-Name an odd smell you like? I LOVE going down the diaper isle and they way they smell mmm

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? Stay home hahaha -- especially in the summer.. this is a tourist town so most of the stuff we do, we do it during the week

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? Looking into the guest room, thinking how its about to change into the baby room

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? Because we've been friends since high school and have seen each other through good and bad.

2- What cartoon character descibes you and why? Probably Bert on Sesame Street... a little anal and sometimes I have a hard time letting loose

3-Name an odd smell you like? gasoline

1- Why is your best friend your best friend? My cousin, we were raised like sisters and have always been there for one another. We compliment one another and almost have our own language.

2- What cartoon character descibes you and why? Pippi Longstocking-adventurous and quirky....plus she dresses very unique

3-Name an odd smell you like? play doh

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? sleep in a little adn stay up past 10pm

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? I have a pic of DH when he was in High School hanging up in my cube, early 90's bowl cute and all!

3-Name an odd smell you like? I love the smell of Pine-sol.

4-Name one thing you do on the weekends that you usually don't during the week? Sleep in!! I'm a teacher so during the school year I'm up really early.

5-Look around you...what is the first thing that makes you smile? My dog lounging on the couch with a pillow under his head like a person.
