I saw a post earlier from many of you ladies about 37 weeks being full-term...for some reason, I always thought/was told that it was 38 weeks. I doubt its a huge difference this late in our pregnancies, I was just wondering....
It must be when you hit 37 weeks, because when I was at my midwife appt this week at 35 weeks 3 days, she said I just had to keep him in there for two more weeks and she would be happy! Almost there!
Like what PPs have said, my doc also told me 37 weeks 0 days is when LO is full term and labor wont be stopped anymore. So for me its pretty much any day now... lol! So crazy to think about!!
Re: when is full term?
I thought it was 38 weeks too. I guess I'm closer than I thought.
This must be where the confusion is. I've always counted when you hit the 37 week mark, so 37 weeks, 0 days completed.
yup, this. and i say full term at 37w0d.
40 weeks is considered full term, 37+ weeks is considered term, a baby born before this will be considered pre-term.
