I felt a gush of discharge this morning as I stood up to take my vitamins, and then noticed that it was trickling down my legs! It was more watery in consistency and had a slight tint to it. I called my doctor, and she said to put on a pantyliner, and if there's more fluid, to call again. If not, it could just be really watery discharge.
Have any of you experience super watery discharge that trickles down your legs??

Re: Water breaking or just lots of discharge?
You did the right thing by calling. I'm just surprised she didn't ask you to come in. I thought that when you waters breaks, the risk for infection begins.
Yes, this happens to me all the time but fortunately I usually make it to the toilet in time. I have really water discharge that has a slight whitish tint to it and I've definitely caught it dripping down my legs before.
If it was your water, make sure to stay hydrated for the baby's sake and keep your genital area clean to reduce your risk of infection. If the pantyliner becomes soaked I would go to L&D to get checked out.
Good luck!!

I had a rush of fluid while walking around Wal Mart at 24 weeks. I got scared and called the OB. They sent me to L&D b/c there is a litmose (sp) test they can do to check if it is amniotic fluid or not. It wasn't, but it was really watery, whitish and totally soaked my underwear.
Good luck!
