DF, SF snacks for wok

My DD is MSPI and EBF. I am a teacher heading back to school next week. I keep a stash of snacks in my desk for myself but I am having a hard time thinking of nonperishable choices beyond Lara Bars. Help!?

  • Before you go, make yourself homemade snacks and freeze them.

    Make rice krispies (this is soooo yummy!)

    Make muffins (i love freezing them)

    I make cookies in batches and freeze them all the time

  • "enjoy life" makes some top 8 free cookies and granola bars if you want something pre-made.  Glutano cereal bars I think are soy free and you can purchase by the case on Amazon for a lot cheaper than you can buy in the store.  Making the snacks yourself is a lot cheaper. 

    I'm not soy free- but I keep these in my desk/in our break room for snacks:

    • peanut butter and rice cakes 
    • dried fruit (I have cherries right now but banana  chips and apricots are good too and rasins are cheap)
    • granola
    • yogurt (couldn't keep in your classroom- but maybe in the teacher's lounge?)
    • if you can get to a refrigerator (or put a mini one in your room?)- veggie sticks are another go to snack for me.  Carrot sticks + peanut butter = delicious.

  • Have you been told to stay away from peanuts and nuts until she is tested?

    I love the Enjoy Life cookies and trail mix.  Mountain Mambo is so good!
