So this might be a stupid question but humor me

can I wash them and put homemade food in them to send to daycare? I not talking about freezing food in them but thawing the food in them a sending that to daycare. WDYT?

I save the glass containers. I throw the plastic.
The glass is what I use to thaw out homemade purees.

Check to see what type of plastic it is. I'm pretty sure there are some types of plastics that aren't approved for reuse.
Can somebody who knows more about recycling expand on this for me?
