2nd Trimester

freaking out more than I should?

My doctor isnt concerned cause there is no bleeding. She wants me to wait until my appointment on monday. BUT, WWYD? I have leaking nipples and Ive been having contractions daily. at least 3 times a day and they arent painful but they are very uncomfortable to the point I have to walk around to make them go away. (Sometimes they do sometimes they dont) My doctor said I am probably looking into it too much but she will do a full scan at my appointment but as long as there is  no bleeding and the contractions dont as often as 15 minutes apart then not to worry.

  •

That would freak me out too!  From an outside stance though, I would trust whatever Doc tells me on this. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about! Perhaps you're just a little dehydrated?  My SIL had contractions like that and it turns out she just wasn't drinking enough fluids/water.  ::shrugs::

  • Drink lots of water. You are probably having Braxton Hicks contractions which isn't a big deal. And, leaking nipples is normal.

  • are you having Braxton Hicks contractions?! i have been having those for about 3-4 weeks now and they don't hurt but i definitley know when i am having one. sometimes i get several a day, but have been assured they are nothing to worry about. just make sure you are drinking plenty of water and trust what your doctor says

  • Hmmm, I would trust my instincts the most.  If you REALLY truly feel something is wrong and you are genuinely scared, don't let anybody else tell you otherwise.  You never know what it might be.  I would take the other ladies advice in the meantime and drink plenty of water.  And demand an appointment tomorrow ASAP!
  • it's likely braxton hicks, since walking around would bring labor contractions on stronger and more frequent instead of relieving them. i've been having BH since 16 weeks and they can be very tight and uncomfortable!
