Can I add items to registry & use completion coupon

I was planning on adding items to my babies r us registry and then using the completion coupon.  But I am wondering if the items have to be added at a certain time frame.  Also, can i do this for Target as well?

    I was able to do that for Amazon.com and for Target.

    It works for Target.  I added items online and went in to the store 15 min later and got the discount.

    I did this for Amazon & Target. At target I picked up the scanner and added things. Then returned the scanner and did my shopping! Worked for me!

    I added stuff like body wash, and laundry detergent to my Target registry.  I used the completion coupon the same day, and then deleted those items from my registry when I was finished.

    Grab the gun, grab a cart, and then "shop" around the store, gunning things that you want and then place them in your cart. I even added cat food on my "registry". Stash the cart somewhere, then, return the gun, re-print out your reg, grab your cart and head to the check out.

    We did this also but only needed baby items.  We needed newborn clothes and you can't register for those online so we took the gun and scanned everything as we placed it in the cart.  DH went to check something out with the cart and I returned the gun and printed the registry.  Then we checked out.  I also added the ready to use similac and used my $5 checks to get those free.  Gheck out the coupons too if you have any good ones they come off before the 10%.
