when did you fit your rings again?

I took off my wedding rings during the third trimester at around 7 months due to swelling. My lo is now 3mo and I thought I should be able to fit them by now but I still don't. How long did it take for you to fit into your rings again? I'm wondering if I just need to resize them. I still need to lose about ten pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I was able to put it back on around 6 weeks pp. I wanted it back on before I returned to work. It doesn't come off as easily as it used to, but I think it's because my finger changed shape a little while my ring was off, like it redistributed fat or something. I have lost all but like 1 pound of the baby weight, so that might be part of it.

ditto (+2 days). my mom said both her feet and finger size changed permanently after she had me. i just took them in to get resized up half a size. i miss wearing them!

I was thinking about doing that too, but I am going to give it a little bit longer. I gained 60lbs with my pregnancy. I have lost 30lbs so far and am now working on the last 30lbs and hopefully more...

With my first, I had to have the rings resized by a half size because my knuckle swelled and never went back to normal even after returning to pp weight.

With my second, I was able to put them back on at about 10 wks pp.

I had to have mine resized. If I hadn't though, they still wouldn't fit. I missed wearing them.

I was able to put mine back on at about 2 months pp. I gained 55lbs during pregnancy and was able to keep them on til 36wks. Thats when the mega water lbs and swelling piled on for me. I'm pretty sure my knuckle is still a bit bigger than it was, but I've lost all but just over a pound of the prenancy weight and they slide around on my finger (below the knuckle) like they used to

I never had any problems with my fingers swelling, but both of my cousins did. One ended up just having hers resized after a year (she still had baby weight on) and my other cousin got hers back on once she lost her baby weight + some additional weight.

My LO is just over 5 months and mine still don't fit well. I can get my wedding ring on, but it'll swell up after a bit. My engagement ring won't fit at all.

A friend of mine just posted on FB that her rings are just now fitting two and a half years later!

I'm going to give it till the end of the year before I have them resized I think....
