Do you think I can get away with a sit & stand or do I need a true double.
Paul will be 21 months when this little one is born. I babywear a lot.
I need to buy something soon because I babysit a newborn once a week & we'll have to walk C to school & pick him up starting next month (1/2 mile each way, my car isn't big enough for all 3 carseats)
Re: 2u2 moms- stroller question
I'm not there yet, but I bought a Kolcraft Countors Baby Stroller off of Craiglist in anticipation. It's a beast but it seems really sturdy. You can change it from one infant/toddler to toddler/toddler or infant/infant.
Here's the website describing it. I haven't tried it out yet with DD, but should soon.

Yeah, we do not have $400 to drop on a stroller, especially with needing to buy a van soon & me taking a leave from work.
My neighbors have a Contour and like it, it just seems so big & bulky & gets awkward on bumpy sidewalks.
I hate using a stroller in general but since we'll be walking everyday I guess I should suck it up & get something decent.

I liked the way the Joovy Caboose steered, and it was fine for Eve to sit on the back bench, but once you put a carseat on it, there was NO room for her to sit. At all.. it literally hit her in the head. I knew I wanted to use it with a carseat, so that was out for me.
You could just wear the baby and use a single for Paul though, right? or get the sit and stand and the P could ride in the real seat if you were wearing the baby.
but yeah another vote here for the city mini. i just love it,

There's a house on Niagara Falls Blvd that has about 500 bikes and strollers for sale in the front yard. I can post the address the next time we drive by but it's either in NT or Wheatfield. They had a BoB double that was gone in a day...but if you're ever out in Amherst maybe you could drive out and tell them what you'd like and how much you are willing to spend. They seem to be right in the stroller/bike mix.
I'd invest in a double and I would just think about how much $ you could sell it for in a few years and consider the difference the actual price...makes it easier to swallow. I've only seen the SnS work for older kids - I bet Charlie would love it, though!!
I just got my city mini double at Buy Buy Baby for 250- now I bought the 2011 model but the only difference is that the 2012 model has a 1/2 inch board in the back of the seat for addl stability however, you can order it from the company for 15 bucks...
I didnt want to spend the 430 on the 2012 model either...
I have the city mini single and I love it- so i was super excited to get my double!!
