I had this put in about 4 weeks ago and about 2 weeks ago started my period.  It lasted for a good 10 days and I am still spotting.  I know spotting is common in the begining, but I am already ready for it to go away.  If you have one how long did it take for your body to get used to it?  I'm not sure I want to go through months of this.  Thanks!

    I took about 2-3 months for it to become regular.  I am not one of the lucky ones that never gets a period, but mine are super short (2-3 days).

    I had the same experience as pp.  I thought there was more of a chance of my period going away but when I was reading on their website the other day I saw that I think it was only 1 in 10 women or something?

    My spotting lasted a while, long enough that I was annoyed by it.  But once it stopped I haven't had a period in almost 3 years except for I think 2 different times of light spotting that lasted only 1 day.

    I would say I spotted on and off enough to need a thin panty liner for the first 8 weeks.  Nothing since then, though, and I had it put in in December.

    spotting = 3.5 months (yes, really, it sucked!!!!)

    periods = I've only had one but it was light and only 3 days

    When I had mine put in in March I had a "period" (which I thought was pretty heavy, and definitely annoying) for 5 weeks.  I went to my OB thinking I would have it removed, and she talked me into sticking it out for a bit longer.  I'm so glad I did!  The bleeding stopped after 6 weeks and I haven't had one since, just a couple of days of extremely light spotting.  I'm very happy with it now!!
