duuuurppp stroller/infant question

Dear mamas,

What age did/do YOU put the bebe in the stroller without the carseat? I can't remember when we started rolling H1 without. FWIW, H2 has great head control. I think she would be fine now, if I'm just walking, not jogging. But yeah, total duuuuuuurrrrrppp question, I know.

We put DS in the city mini around 5 months. I didn't sit it up all the way so he didn't slouch too much or slide side to side - I think it helped that it has kind of a 5 point harness so he was strapped in pretty tight too. He liked it better because he could see more and didn't get as hot as in the car seat. we also only go for walks around the block or stores, etc. with it right now, no rough terrain.

I can't remember how old your second is, but we are just now starting to put DS (my #3) in the stroller without the carrier/car seat. He's 8 mos. We probably could have done it sooner and reclined the stroller back, but I guess we sort of forgot about that option on our stroller. Embarrassed

I did it around 4 months...W had really good head/neck control, too and he was fine :-)

Around 4 months. Both were sitting by then, so I probably could have done it earlier.

Really young, 2/3 months, for the completely ridiculous reason that we never reinstalled the car seat bar after transitioning to the toddler snack tray.

Pretty early - like two months. I called CityMini and asked and they said since the back reclines all the way, they could go in immediately. I put in an extra snuzzler thing to keep his wee head steady, though.

This exactly. I had to adjust the harness straps to fit him, but he slept the whole ride.
