Britax Roundabout & Chubby Legs

We have the Britax Roundabout 50 and I have noticed that the hip straps are very tight around Juliana's legs. Is this normal or is it because she has chubby legs? I had our friend who is a police office install it and check to make sure the straps fit her good but I think the hip straps need to be adjusted.

    They should be tight. That said, we have it for my chubby DS, and I haven't noticed it being an issue.

    ETA: How were you going to adjust them?

    I'm not sure to be honest. I haven't looked to see if there was really a way to adjust them. It almost seems like the buckle between her legs needs to go up one more slot but I read in the manual that the top slot is for the forward facing. I haven't been able to look under it yet since it's all installed in my car and there is no way I am taking it out...
