Holy movements, baby!

So, I'm just over 38 weeks now, and everything I've read says baby's movements will probably start slowing down now, due to lack of space to move.

My LO didn't get that memo. She moves SOOOOOO much lately! All day. Half the night. This evening, she is going nuts in there. My belly is making some very strange movements....very crazy! She keeps headbutting my cervix, which isn't pleasant and always makes me jump. Arms and legs (or something!) keep jabbing me all over. I just can't get over how much movement there is going on!

Anyone else this far along having tons of movement like this? DH thinks she is just trying to find her way out. *lol*

    Ha! I like that :) Whispergrrl, sounds like you have a feisty one in there! To answer your question, my LO's movements have decreased the past couple of weeks. I notice she has regular sleeping and awake times. That said, when she is moving it feels/looks crazy, and yeah the cervical head-butting is pretty painful!
