Re: **Twins & Triplets Check-in!**
EJ708 had their IVF miracles on 7/20/11 at 37 weeks after 3 weeks of hospital bedrest! https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/56073635.aspx
My Update: Not much going on. Feeling pretty good for the most part. Trying to narrow down my paint/decor decisions to 3 choices (b/b, b/g, and g/g) so once we have our anatomy scan on 8/24 (2 weeks- yay!!!) we'll be ready to buy paint and get going on it immediately.
QOTW: I've been craving ice cream, but that's not new for me. I've also been craving cake. There aren't any foods I used to like that I now can't stand.

thanks for the info on EJ708
i've eaten so much ice cream in pregnancy too! PP it wasn't something we generally kept in the house, but right now we have 3 kinds in the freezer!
Congrats to all the new mommies!
Updates: Things are going pretty good! I started working 1/2 day in office and 1/2 day at home this week so that has been nice. Still need to get the nursery organized-it is a mess! Gifts and clothes are everywhere. Hopefully we can work on organizing things this weekend. I still need to find a changing table too. I go to the MFM on Fri. I pretty much go to the Dr every week now between my ob and MFM. Names: girls will be Campbell and Caroline, boy is Hunter.
QOTW: I's have to say ice cream too-have any of you tried those Magnum ice cream bars? OMG! They are like 330 calories but who cares-the babies need it!
Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing well!
Updates: I'm getting super uncomfortable. I still have my good days, but they seem to be few and far between! A good nights sleep has become a distant memory. Still on modified bed rest, but doing really well, my cervix seems to be holding strong at 2.4cm. I start weekly NST's and BPP's next week. It's hard to believe my scheduled c/s is only 7 weeks away!
QOTW: My favorite foods have been ice cream and watermelon! I haven't had any food aversions since 1st tri.
Congrats to all the new mamas!
My update: I had my NT scan last week. Everything looked good with the babies (NT measurements were 1.3 and 1.5) and they were very active. One of them kept hiccupping.
My bloodwork was 1:4000 for Down Syndrome and 1:10000 for Trisomy 13/18. Next appt is next Tues.
QOTW: I still have a fair amount of food aversions. Most of my cravings are for sandwiches... boring. Taco Bell and McDonald's have also made an appearance -- which is funny, because until now I hadn't really touched either place since high school.
4 Clomid cycles + 3 IUIs w/ injectables + 1 IVF = 1 m/c, 1 ectopic
FET May 2011 = BFP! Beta 1 (8dp5dt): 336, Beta 2 (12dp5dt): 2033, Beta 3 (14dp5dt): 4706
? So thankful for our little guys, born at 33 weeks. ?
Congrats to all the new mommies and hugs to those who are getting close!!
It's been a while since I've checked in! Nothing really new to report... Not getting much sleep these days bc my hips are killing me! But the girls are going great! Baby A is weighing in at 3lbs 7 oz and Baby B is 4 lbs 3 oz. The u/s tech could see long hair on Baby B's head which simply makes me giddy!
As far as names, we're still set on Elliot Marie for one and are deciding between Charlotte, Emma, Abigail, and Peyton for the other. It's looking like it's going to be a game-time decision when they get here!
QOTW: Like everyone else, ice cream has been it! Tho.... it sort of always has been with me... even pre-pregnancy.
UPDATE: The babies and I are doing good! We start twice weekly NST's next week at 32 weeks. three weeks ago both babies were lamost 3lbs each so I am very anxious to find out how much they are weighing at four weeks later. BH's started a couple weeks ago but we are trucking through them. Started getting really tired within the last week like I was in the first tri....but I still can't believe they will be here in the next 7 weeks!
QOTW: I still don't eat meat...just a few bites here and there then I am done. No cravings for me but I have found that after I eat something sweet I need to eat something salty. Lots of M&M's and white popcorn!
Anyone else chewing ice like crazy?
Good Luck everyone!
Hi ladies!! Everything is going great over here. Some Braxton Hicks have started and gave me a rough night Monday night, but last night was much better! I actually got more than an hour of sleep at a time so that was wonderful.
QOTW: Tomatoes and Lemonade. I can't get enough of either!
Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
*Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*
Morning, my week and pregnancy has been going pretty well. We haven't accomplished much, but are hoping to be done with the nursery by September. We are still team green, but I am getting a little anxious.
There really hasn't been a favorite food besides cereal and lemonade. I take that back, I can't get enough lemonade. I can't stand chicke. Uggh, I can smell it a mile away.
Congratulations to Sing4mysavior, Amamommy, and Mamabear7 - I wish there was a place where they could share their experiences. I would love to know how they are adapting to life with twins.
Miscarried December of 2008, Ectopic Pregnancy November of 2009
IVF #1 = BFN | IVF #2 = BFP: 9dp5dt (399), 14dp5dt (2489)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6,7
Updates: I haven't updated in awhile. I was transferred from my OB, MFM, and Ped Cardiologist, to a different practice and hospital that will better suit our needs as it is looking like Baby A will need immediate heart surgery after birth if she continues to grow. It was a group decision and they said that despite being at a level 3 NICU, I'm going to need something more. The new hospital is a lot further from our house (but close to my work), but it's the best place to be and I will see the OB, MFM, Ped Cardioloist, and Social Worker every visit instead of what I currently do which is 3-4 different appointments a week. I have my first appt with this new group today.
I had steriod shots as soon as I hit 24 weeks and they are preparing me for an early delivery because of Baby A's growth (or lack of). Baby B appears to continue to be doing well. We're praying and hoping for a miracle for Baby A and that I can keep them in long enough for both to thrive.
We haven't picked out names yet, but have possibilites for the both the girl and the boy.
QOTW: My favorite foods tend to flucuate--ice cream being a staple. I'm into yougurt and milk right now too. I can't stand black beans (used to love them) and I am slowly starting to eat chicken again. My morning sickness seems to somewhat subsided--I think it's been a full week without being sick!
2/21/11: IVF #1 Begins and results in TWINS!
11/4/11: The twins are born at 36w4d!
11/5/11: We said goodbye to our sweet baby girl as she was born with multiple complications and a severe heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.
Updates: So far I've been surviving but I definitely don't feel good
I am just achy and tired and nauseated pretty much at all times I'm awake (especially in the afternoon and evening). I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for a regular OB check-up and an ultrasound to check the heartbeats. Hubby says its a good thing I don't feel good because its a constant reminder I have two little bee bees inside of me
He's sweet
QOTW: My favorite food so far is a Cherry Icee Float from Burger King because for some reason it just makes me feel good
I know its not good for me so I contain the urge to a once a week splurge but damn its good! One thing I can't even stand to look at these days is meat. Any kind. Prepared any way. Just meat. I don't know what it is about it but if I put one bite in my mouth I'm just done. I've been eating an abundance of peanut butter, yogurt, cheese, and fruit these days since that's about all that will stay in me!
Hi! Would you mind adding me to this list?
EDD: March 8, 2012
Twins (not sure of sex yet)
Thanks!

Update: The babies are growing fast!! I found a great OB office and I cannot wait until my next appointment for our ultrasound!! We have started telling our families and friends! I've been in search of clothes that fit....ugh!
I have been drinking V-8 like crazy! I'm also able to drink Oj and eat oranges again without heartburn! (never happened before!). I still have issues with raw meats! I hope it changes soon, I miss cooking!
