formula ?

Probably a really stupid ? but I want to start increasing my little one's formula. She takes 2oz now and want to gradually increase it. Do I add more powder formula? Maybe it's my lack of sleep that is making me not figure this out. One scoop = 2oz, but what for 2.5 oz or 3?

Thanks

Re: formula ?

  • 1 oz = 1/2 of a scoop so....

     # (of desired oz) x .5 = # of scoops needed.

    3  x .5 = 1.5

    2.5 x .5 = 1.25

and so on. Are you just wanting to increase the amount she eats? Or is she still hungry after a 2 oz feeding?

  • there are 4 tsp in the scoop that comes with the formula container, so 1 tsp is .5 oz.

if you want to do a 2.5 oz bottle: add 1 scoop and 1 tsp of formula to the 2.5 oz of water.
