Hi ladies, this is a check-in group for those who have had an ectopic pregnancy. We are here to support you, sympathize with you, and help answer questions!

New Members: Please post with any or all of the following information (whatever you are comfortable sharing):

QOTW: My favorite holiday is Christmas, I guess. It's the only one I decorate for. I like putting up the tree and watching Miracle on 34th St.

Not much going on here...waiting to O and going from there. I was at the store yesterday and saw a pregnant woman with a little girl and I found myself giving her a dirty look.. Embarrassed

QOTW: I guess Christmas is my favorite because i like to decorate and give gifts, but also the most stressful. I also like Mother's and Father's Day because we have nice simple bbq's that everyone gets to enjoy.

It was great, my friend and I went to the Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and the Field Museum, and did a lot of just hanging out.

Hi all,I'm new here and look forward to connecting with you all. I had my first BFP and miscarriage within a month. A total nightmare I am just now beginning to be able to wrap my mind around as I was in the hospital for 5 days after losing 50% of my blood. I almost died.

Anyways, more details below. Your name: TraceyHow long you had been TTC: first monthDate of BFP: 6/30/2011EDD: 03/07/2012 Date you found out it was ectopic: 07/26/2011 Any medical treatments you had and dates: Rhogam shot 07/05/2011 for spotting, laparascopy to remove left tube 07/26/2011, blood transfusions; 7/26/2011,7/27 and 7/28, xray and CT scansAny complications you had: superficial hematoma in my hip and crotch that caused major pain, bruising and swellingDate your HCG was at zero: haven't tested yet Date or how long it took for you to ovulate and/or get your first real period post ectopic cycle: n/aWhere you are now with TTC or TTA: i'm on pelvic rest for the next 5 weeks, but want ttc once i am healthy and healed.How you are feeling about everything, Any other info you want to tell us: I'm still taking vicodin so am a bit hazy most of the time. Some moments i'm just grateful i am alive. I have an amazing family and friends who have been really supportive and I feel extremely fortunate for that. My DH is AMAZING. We own our own business and he has had to step up and take over everything including the cooking and cleaning at home. I'm lucky. Despite that, emotionally I am up and down. Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing as well as they can.

Just finished up with AF and I'm looking forward to trying again this month. I hope our timing is better and my body is a bit more consistent. I'm currently waiting to get our insurance cards (coverage kicked in 8/1) so I can make an appt with my doctor. I'm behind on the yearly and I have some other stuff I want to talk to her about.

QOTW: It's a tie between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I LOVE cooking the huge Thanksgiving meal as much as I love giving people presents.

Hi Everyone,

I think I'm in the 2WW but I'm not sure since this is my first cycle since the ectopic. I tested twice over the last several days and both BFNs. I've been having some cramping so I think AF is around the corner. I can't wait until things are back on track.

My inlaws just booked a family vacation to Kauai for Feb. Part of me is hoping I can't go because I'll be KU but we'll see..... I'm not feeling very hopeful about it happening that soon. Wondering if I should try IUI or clomid or just be patient like my original plan....

QOTW: Christmas - it just brings back so many wonderful memories from my childhood.

Any medical treatments you had and dates: Methotrexate Injection 7/15, Methotrexate Injection 7/22, Lap Surgery 7/29 to remove left tube

Any complications you had: None

Date your HCG was at zero: Have not tested yet

Date or how long it took for you to ovulate and/or get your first real period post ectopic cycle: N/A

Where you are now with TTC or TTA: I am on pelvic rest until this weekend, but my RE gave me the go ahead to begin IUIs again as soon as AF shows up.

How you are feeling about everything, Any other info you want to tell us: I am doing amazingly well given the circumstances. My DH, my family and my friends have been my rocks through this past month of ups and downs, and I am so thankful for them. After my f/u appointment last week, I am feeling much more hopeful but I am still terrified that it could happen again.
