Gift ideas for 2yr old girl?

Everyone is asking what to get DD2 for her birthday next week, but I am totally clueless right now.  She has the typical stuff DD1 got for her birthday (babies, strollers, etc.) because they are hand-me-downs.  Any suggestions? We are currently in an apartment for a few more months so don't really want anything too large. TIA!

-If you have any suggestions for DD1, those are welcome as well.

    DD just turned 2 and she is really into accessories and play clothes. Crowns, hats, purses, capes, fairy wand, she loves it all.

    My DD got a princess Disney trunk of outfits that fit 24mos. perfectly...she also got some books and a Tag Junior...you can buy more books for that later too...like for Christmas or something...

    DD got a bunch of new puzzles and "paper" doll type thing for her bday and LOVES them! She had outgrown all the baby puzzles she had. I think the doll is a Melissa and Doug toy. It's wooden and the clothes are magnetic to the doll. She plays with that all the time. She also loves dressing up!

    Fisher price snap n style dolls are a big hit.  You can find them at Kohls.

    Games are big in our house right now - Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders...etc.  We're also into dress-up - big time!

    Far and away the biggest hit at DD's 2nd birthday was the melissa and doug cookie set.  She SITLL plays with it every single day.
