I just realized today that our shampoo has coconut and shea in it. DD uses Aveeno Baby but I thought we should probably get safe shampoo's for DH and I too.
Is she actually allergic to coconut and shea? While they fall in the tree nut category, it is verrrrry rare that someone would be allergic to those just because of a tree nut allergy.
We use CA Baby for DS, but it does have coconut in it, so if you're looking for something free of both those things that won't work.
DS and me are both deathly allergic to tree nuts (and peanuts too for him) and I also use soap with shea butter in it and don't have any problems at all (and I asked both his allergist and mine about this once I realized these ingredients are in practically everything).
The Faan just had an article in their newsletter about shea and allergies...not many react at all. I would look into it and ask the allergist...don't know about coconut.
