Treadmill recommendations??

Well, I know this board is super slow BUT hopefully since its more directed toward this topic I'll get some good answers. My current treadmill is very old, and I think the motor is going out slowly. I would LOVE a treadclimber, I don't generally do more than a jog on our current treadmill, so a treadclimber would be perfect because brisk walking on an incline is about as intense as I get, if I'm going to jog/run id really prefer to do it outdoors. However they are freaking expensive lol. So I'm kinda looking into a treadmill also, but there are tons to choose from. Anyone have an in home treadmill that they like a lot? What is the make and model and where did you get it??

Re: Treadmill recommendations??

  • Don;t know the make and model (too lazy to go down to the basement right now), but I've had a nordic track treadmill for the last 6 years and it's held up well. Customer service is good. I run A LOT, too.

  • I got a Reebok one from Costco that was less than $1000 and I've been very happy about it.  What was really great is that delivery and in-home set up was included in the price.

  • i have a smooth fitness treadmill and have had it for over 5+ yrs.  it has held up really well and i have put a lot of miles on that thing!  they have a great service program.  i thought it was so expensive when i first got it but to be honest you get what you pay for with these things.  really do a lot of research and read a lot of reviews.  the treadclimbers generally get really bad reviews.  check out epinions & spark (i think that is the website) but anything that is related to exercise- do your research and it will pay off!  GL!
