Mom's Day Out?

Hi Ladies,

I don't usually post here (usually on Dec'10) but I live in NW Portland.  I'm looking for a Mom's Day Out program for my 8 month old.  So far the only thing I've found is a toddler day school which my guy is not old enough for.  Any ideas?  TIA!

    The only place I have been able to find is "We Village" the pearl. It does not work for your child due to age, but defintely keep it on your radar for future. I was super pumped to finally be able to use them, BUT we have a baby on the way, soooo our time with them is limited.

    Have you looked for in home daycares that might be willing to do just one day a week or occasional days when you need them?  I have a wonderful in home daycare in SW Portland (Hillsdale) that I take my daughter to two days per week when I am working and one day per week in the summer when I am off of work.  She has occasional days where she isn't full and would probably be happy to take on an new child on those days.

    Sure - let me check with her first on Thursday when we are there to make sure she'd be willing to do it on an occasional basis or to fill open days during the week.  She maintains a strict 3:1 ratio, so I always feel comfortable.  I'll let you know what I find out.
