Hello everyone,
I've been a "lurker" for a while, but I'm relatively new to this board. This is the first month my DH and I are trying to conceive after our loss in August.
I have started charting my temperatures on FF, and I definitely saw a spike/higher temp for 2 days last week. My temperature has been slowly going down since then.
It was my understanding that your temp stays high if you're pg, is that correct? Am I probably not pregnant, since my temp is returning to it's normal number?
TIA! And good luck and baby dust to everyone.
Re: Charting temps?
I'm not sure what the terminology means: "coverline"? Does this mean my temp needs to be high for 3 days? Which of those 3 days would i have ovulated?
FF seems not very user-friendly, and I'm still playing around, trying to figure it out.
FF will draw a coverline one Ovulation has been confirmed by 3 high temps, you will see it...if you want to click in my siggy you can see what I mean by the red coverline. That did not show up until yesterday after I recorded my 3rd high temp. Did you do the tutorial?
If you go click on "Home Page Setup" on the page that your chart is on you will see the link that you can copy and past into your post so that we could look at it.
You ovulate on the last day that your temp is low. If you have high temps for three days in a low, that usually confirms ovulation, and your temps will remain high until the day of, or a few days before you get AF, and then they will drop back down to pre-o levels. A coverline is just a line between your preO, and your postO temps. FF will draw cross hairs, which are basically like the x and y axis of a graph, pinpointing your ovulation.
You might try signing up for their tutorials. I find it pretty user friendly and easy to understand after taking them.
Thanks ladies for your help. I think I will take the tutorial, it seems like that will help answer a lot of my questions!
Am I correct in the general statement that if your temp starts dropping again, it means you're not pg?
