3 kids and a plane trip

So I leave tomorrow for a two week working vacation.  The bags are packed.  Ride for the airport is all arranged in the morning.  H went ahead to get things set up for the baby (crib, high chair, etc).  I will be traveling with the 3 kids and the baby sitter.  Feeling as organzied as I can.  DD1 and DD2 are very used to this and are pretty self-sufficient.  This is the first trip I have taken with an infant.  I have read all the advice people have posted and I am as ready as will ever be.  Wish me luck :-)

  • Oooh, good luck!  I found traveling when Margaux was tiny really wasn't bad at all!

  • You'll do great! We just landed this afternoon, me, the kids (yes, all of them) and no DH. Spending the week visiting family and going to my cousins wedding. I survived the 4 hour plane ride, the flight attendants were fantastic help.
  • Good Luck.  Can't wait to hear how it went.

  • Good luck! We're taking DS on his first plane ride in November and I'm already wondering how that will go with a 10 month old.

  • GL!  We took J. and E. on their first plane rides when they were both about 6 months old, and everything went fine. It is actually easier at this age since they are not yet mobile.

  • GL!  We're leaving with our two on a vacation soon as well.  Travel is always stressful but hope everything goes smoothly.
