Pregnant after IF

***Its Baby Time*** edited for specificity

I am in the same boat as you, in the big bewb department and unable to get bras in most regular places everyone else can :( I am currently a 44F ... or I should say was that size since it's been a few weeks my bras feel tight and leave actual indentations on me...

Where were you able to find a supportive (as in underwire) bra? If you don't mind sharing, please let me know.

I get my bras at Lane Bryant , they go up to H, but they don't make nursing bras ...

And this may or may not help but Motherhood Maternity does sell bigger cup nursing bras but for me personally they won't work because of the way they're cut. I tried one and I didn't feel terribly supported. And when I took the nursing flap down I am basically braless there was so little fabric left covering the rest of my boob!

But give it a shot and maybe it will work out better for you ??

  • Hi! This is the current style that fits me the best right now. I have a few colors in 36G and they are still pretty sexy. I will add though by the end of the day they leave a little bit of a red mark under the wire but I think it's because my belly is getting bigger. https://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=397356&CategoryId=55799I wish I could find a softer yet still supportive bra. As for nursing, I tried one at Motherhood. It looked sorta like a sports bra with a racerback and they come in S-2Xl. The XL fit me good but didn't give me the separation I like. They kinda felt squished together. Im wondering how much bigger they're going to get once the milk comes in.I've tried Lane Bryant bras and they just don't fit right. They are such a pain ugh.

Thanks for the link I will check it out ! I am used to being red from my bras, it is a sad fact of life with boobs this big LOL

I will check out that sports bra too, I also like separation but I guess maybe it will be OK for the purpose of nursing? And then I will go back to lifting and separating when I am done BFing !

Lane Bryant bras can be a pain you are right, but that's been my best bet so far...

  • sorry my reply was "all smashed" together. I was on my iPad and it always comes out weird when I post from there and I can't make a clicky link.

I know what you mean about red marks. I have that everyday too, just a fact of life at this point. I also have permanent indentations on my shoulders from the straps but what can I do right? I need something to hold these girls.

I'm thinking if I can't find a good nursing bra, I'm going with the one I tried on at Motherhood that I was telling you about. I'll be home for a while with the baby and I'm not going to care too much about seperation at that point LOL. I also refuse to pay over $60 for a nursing bra when thats how much I pay right now for regular bras and I'm not going use the nursing ones forever.

    IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
    IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
    IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
    IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
    FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
    IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

No worries about the "smashed" reply LOL

I've had red marks since high school, it's just how it goes , right? Definitely going to look into that sprts type bra this weekend. What's so bad about a little uniboob if I'm at home with my baby for 12 weeks? Stick out tongue
