Pregnant after IF

Feel like poop

I feel like I have the flu....continuously :(  It is starting to drive me crazy as I have been completely exhausted, nauseated, throwing up, achy, and am all stuffed up.  Please someone tell me that my doctor isn't lying to me and that I will feel "SO much better" once I get to the 2nd trimester! Do I really have 6 more weeks of feeling this way?! I miss being a part of society!!

(PS: If it means my babies are healthy, I'll take it....but it sure doesn't make it any more fun!!)

Re: Feel like poop

  • hmmm, well not to discourage you but my nausea and vomiting hasn't really gone away.

in fact, i've puked more in my third tri so far than i did in my second tri. second tri it was about once/week, third tri so far has been several times a week. i'm still on zofran daily.

BUT i think the norm is that you start feeling better around week 14, and i hope that happens for you!

  • I am feeling the same way. I just keep trying to eat every two or three hours and that seems to help the nausea a little.

I hope your m/s lightens up a bit and you aren't feeling like you have the flu 24/7. (((HUGS)))

  • Yeah, first tri is *rough* as far as the nausea/vomiting.  For me it did get better in the 2nd trimester.  I still have the occasional nausea, but it's not constant like it was in the beginning.
