Which Stroller and Carseat/Travel system did you register for?

We are going to register pretty soon and I've been researching strollers/carseats and I think I am favoring the Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30. We need to actually go to the store and check them all out though before making a decision.

I also liked the snap 'n go but I think we are going to go with a travel system so we don't need to buy a seperate stroller in the future.

So I'm curious what did you ladies register for, or if you already have one what are you using?

Baby trend jogger and matching carseat. Not purchasing together though, but the joggers can be used with any baby trend seat. We are going to get a used snap and go from a resale shop after baby gets here if we think we need it. I also found a britax lightweight umbrella stroller for half off about a month ago, so I snatched it up. It's for when baby is at least 6 months though . I figure we'll use it for travel.

With my DD I got a Graco Snugride car seat and a Baby Jogger City Elite stroller with the car seat adaptor. We used the stroller with the adaptor for neighborhood walks. We were given the snap n' go and I LOVED it! It is so much lighter than our stroller (and any travel system out there) so it was easy to keep in the car and use when on the go.

Most people I talked with did not like their travel system so I sort of made my own with the car seat adaptor. Yes it's more expensive but I love my stroller.

My stroller is more like a jogging stroller but if you want one with smaller tires I highly recommend the baby jogger city mini with a car seat adaptor.

EDIT: If you want the snap n go (I highly suggest it) look at craigslist for a used one. You can save a ton of money on one that has only been used a few months.

Have you put this one together yet? I know this is really stupid but this was my top pick until I saw the cup holder. I feel like the cup holder is sticking out and will get in the way of things and also I don't like that there's only one and no where to set keys or things? I was just wondering if you had put it together and if you saw this as a potential problem or not.

I registered for the First Year Wave stroller and the Britax Boulevard convertible car seat. (we're not doing the travel system) However, I believe an infant seat could attach to the stroller frame if desired.

Haven't decided on a carseat yet, but we bought a 2010 BOB Revolution, and we'll use it with the carseat adapter.

We registered for a 2011 BOB Revolution and a Chicco KeyFit infant carrier, since there is now an adapter for that.

We registered for a Britax Marathon car seat, as well.

Graco Quattro Tour Reverse... I love it because it is super easy to fold, you can do it one handed. The seat also allows you to have your LO (once in the stroller) face 'the world' or face you. BuyBuy Baby had one on the floor that we could look at, but they don't have the color we want...

I wanted the Chicco travel system..until I tested it in the store. It was bulky, heavy, didn't push very nicely..I just wasn't a fan.

We decided on the Chicco Keyfit seat with a Baby Trend SNG (you can find these used on CL all the time).

Later on, once baby is bigger we will re-assess our needs but most likely we will get a jogging stroller because I run.

I haven't put it together yet. The box is just sitting in our dining room . I agree that the cup holder is a bit weird! I wish it faced the other direction, like back towards me or in towards the handle. Oh well. I didn't even think of the key thing, I have my keys on a lanyard so if we go out for a walk I can just put them around my neck.

We registered for the Chicco Keyfit 30 and bought the 2011 Baby Jogger City Mini (for which there is an adaptor that the infant seat snaps into, which we also registered for).

We also registered for the Recaro ProRide convertible

We got a Graco travel system (I can't remember what the stroller is called, but they discontinued it-similar to the Passage or Alano, though) and we LOVED it. We have run this thing into the ground! We got a new infant seat on clearance for DD2 when she was a couple months old because the rubber on the handle was coming off (probably from leaving it in the hot car when we spent three months in AZ). We will likely purchase a new infant seat and leave it in the box till the baby is born and we know if we need it. If we have a girl, we'll take it back and use what we have. We are planning on getting the baby jogger city mini. Does anyone know if the carseat adapter works for the double?

We are planning on a jogging/all-terrain stroller like the BOB revolution or baby jogger city elite and the chicco keyfit carseat. We are outdoors people so a normal travel system doesn't make sense for us.

We registered for the Chicco Key Fit 30 and chose the UPPAbaby Vista (comes with bassinet, forward or rear-facing seat and we're getting the carseat adapter). We were originally planning on getting the Bumbleride Indie, but after testing several in-store (and reading reviews), we fell for the UPPAbaby. The shop owner offered us 10% off for buying same day, so we did! We also bought the stand for the bassinet - we're thinking the baby can sleep in that next to our bed for the first few months (and later, the stand converts into a laundry hamper - genius!).

THIS!! I have a coupe, so it will be interesting. I am also getting a free Key Fit from my brother. They had a daughter in March, bought two thinking they would need two, and used the extra one a handful of times...

We got the Baby Trend Expedition jogger with the travel system. One of my friends has it and loves it and her daughter has always been comfortable in the carseat and often snoozes during jogs.

We registered for the Graco Snugride 35 and a snap 'n go (will look at used if we don't get it as a gift). I live in Canada and don't plan on using a stroller outside much until at least March/April so I think this will give me a chance to try out the snap 'n go and see how much I use it, what i like/dislike about it, and buy a bigger stroller when the baby outgrows the infant seat. I am thinking I may even go with a nicer, light stroller like an amped up umbrella stroller instead of a travel system, since I have a lot of friends who pretty much never use their travel system and say it is way too big. But that is why I am going to wait and see what I think after we meet the little one and I try living with him/her for a little while!
