Pelvic pain

I did not have this but it seems the last two days I have noticed lots of pelvic pain.  When I get up from the bed or my chair I notice my pelvis and inner thighs hurt.  Almost like I worked out the muscles and I sort of waddle now because of it.  Is this normal?  Is there anything I can do to help with the pain?

Re: Pelvic pain

  • I've been having that pain for a couple of weeks now. To help with the pain, I roll out of bed (as glamorous as it sounds and looks!) and take my time standing up from chairs. The pain isn't totally gone from take these steps, but it certainly helps. Good luck!

  • I've been having this lately too. Feels like someone kicked me down there. I think its the muscles connecting my belly to lady parts stretching.

  • Yep, it's your pelvis bones, muscles, and ligaments opening and stretching in preparation for baby. It sucks, and hurts like hell some days. As pp said, rolling out of bed helps, and standing slowly and swaying a bit once your up seems to help me. And as strange as this sounds, sometimes massaging the pelvic bone and groin area actually helps towards the end of the day.

  • I have been dealing with this for months :( It is so much worse this second pregnancy. I wish I had a solution for you, but all I can do is commiserate.
