Where to have a baby shower?

Hello ladies :) I am due end of November but my best friend is throwing me a baby shower mid-September. She currently is doing her own research to find a place to have the shower, but since I am on here, I thought I'd ask you all!

 We are looking to stay in Orange County (preferably Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Newport Beach) and do not need to have the place provide food - we have that covered :) Already checked out some park shelter rentals which are all taken for the weekend we want. 

 Please help =-)

    I would say if you have the food covered then you are probably looking at either renting space at a community center or park.  Most if not all restaurant and banquet rentals require a minimum in terms of food and beverage, and/or require you to use their vendors.
