We need to spice this board back up! I saw they did this on the Oct. board and thought it would be fun to do here as well.

So, what is your favorite item you have bought or received for baby thus far? Please feel free to include pictures! I'm still not sure how to do it, so I'll just write mine out!

I am obsessed with baby diapers right now. Lately I've been getting good deals at BRU and Amazon so I've been stocking up. Last week I was so anxious to open a box, that I decided to diaper my dog. It didn't go well, but it satisfied my "craving." I've gotten cuter stuff than diapers, but I had to vent.

Be careful about the diapers. I did that with my son and he ended up having sensitive skin and I had to return all the boxes I bought because they broke his little bottom out. Just an FYI.

There are a lot of items to choose from but I would have to go with our swing. We bought the Fisher Price My Little Snugabunny swing and I can't wait to use it! I hope the baby likes it because I sure do!

My cloth diapers have been fun too. I love the variety of colors and getting them in the mail has been exciting!

Same here! I love just looking at and going through the clothes I have so far, Also organizing the cloth diapers is fun!

The only thing I have so far is the diaper bag. Not that exciting. But the thing I am most looking forward to is the little clothes. I've been resisting buying some because I know we'll get a lot from our baby showers.

The thing I'm stressing about the most is the stroller/baby carrier. My MIL is going to buy it for us, so I just need to pick it out. I am just inundated with reading all the reviews. Just when I think I've found one, I read a bad review and then start re-thinking my decision. UGH! Why can't someone just ask me what I want in a stroller and then tell me which one is the best option for me? I would pay money for that!

Well so far we have pretty much all the 0-3 month clothes that we could possibly need, some toys/teethers, and we've ordered everything for the nursery. So I guess my favorite item is the crib-- once it gets delivered and set up it's going to make everything much more real

All of the CD's I've bought. I'm pretty sure I won't get many at my shower because my friends think its weird, but they're SO cute!

I got our Limited Edition City Mini off albeebaby.com for only $192 when they had that sale going on. It was for single and double strollers. I'm not sure if they still have it going on but it doesn't hurt to check! I also found a stroller boutiqe on Ebay that had a similar deal going on as well.

You did get a smokin deal! Arg, I've been to that site...to bad the double's are still like $450....Wouldn't be to bad if we didn't already have a nice stroller. I'll keep looking I guess....who know's if we will even need one. DS spent most of his colicky first months in the baby bijorn anyways when we went out.

They're notorious for being over priced, even if you take into account their gift card "deals" (same with Target). For a tip--ALWAYS price diapers out by the cost per diaper.

So far it's the Uppababy stroller! We had it in our living room for a while and I would just stare at it and push it around - haha. Now it's in baby's room with a stuffed animal in the seat :-)

I think it feels so real to have the "gear"!

Albee baby still has the BJCM double for $299 in black! Fantastic deal!

I am having a BLAST buying robot decorations for the nursery. I am almost finished making curtains for the room and then will have some matching fabric bins to hold diapers and am sewing other coordinating robot stuff for the room too. The robot stuff is just SO cute.

I love the CD!! I'm so proud of them for some reason.

I got some pretty good CL deals; exersaucer, walker, boppy, and bright starts ingenuity bouncer - all in seriously excellent condition for about $60. I'm currently negotiating the angelcare movement monitor with someone right now. FX!

Since we are Team Green...I decided to take advantage of the Kohl's cash and 30% coupon code and buy some neutral, boys and girls sleepers. I'm in love! We just finished painting the nursery and I moved all my finds and deals in there and went through everything. I pulled out a little newborn sleeper and started feeling a little sad that time is already flying; imagine how fast our LOs will be outgrowing all this cute stuff.

What is a good price per diaper? I know it varies by brand but what would be a good deal on Pampers and Huggies? Thanks!

I've been addicted to buying clothes, especially at Carter's. Little girl clothes are so cute! I didn't think I would be this bad but since I found out we are having a girl (only 1 month ago), I have probably spent over $500 on baby clothes, and I have gotten some really good deals. I have SOOOO many clothes for her! Realistically, I will probably never be able to use them all. I think I need to go to rehab for baby clothes shopping!

No worries I have been really good about pricing it out. I only bought BRU brand diapers this past weekend because they ahd 2 for $40 with the 192+ count diapers. I did the calculcations and it came out to $0.10 per diaper. I've read your comments before about diapers and that's what got me started on Amazon and the pricing out per diaper.
