New leakage- thinking I need to call when office opens

So, I have not had a lot of discharge at all, but I've had the swamp. Normal, fine, ok.

Last night I got in bed and had a gush... I checked, my underwear was soaked, clear. I'd been drinking loads of water though, so I figured, ok, maybe pee. Fine.

At 4 am, I woke up, thought, since I'm up, I should pee.... I stood up out of bed and felt a gush, the gush continued into the toilet, without any help from me. Then I peed like normal.

I'm thinking this is not quite right.

First I'll say call, but you probably will already :)That's happened to me a couple of times this pregnancy but it's been just urine for me. In my first pregnancy, I never had one gush when my water broke,more just kept leaking and trickling out but when I tried to push it (thinking it was urine) I had a lot of discomfort. Since she was born about 5 hours later, it's good I went in. lol

Could be either, best to just get it checked out. Worst case you have to come back and update us on how you peed yourself.... we have had more embarrassing posts at this point than that!

No smell really- like chemically when I really inhaled all up in it, but that makes me think it might be detergent. I put on 2 new pairs of undies.

And when I say gush, I mean, I could feel flowing. Not a big gush, but more than just a little slip of pee.

Calling at 830! Fingers crossed!

Gross, but go smell your dirty panties. If it smells like pee/amonia you can relax.

Definitely call, but I second this. If it's pee, the smell will definitely be more distinct when it dries. I may or may not know this from experience. Embarrassed

Scary, let us know what they say when you call. I've definitely had a few times that I haven't been sure. Let's hope it's just urine.
